The vineyards
We manage 40 hectares of vineyards. Those located in the Lazise area, on the morainic hills of
Lake Garda, with their temperate climate, are used mainly for white wines, while our reds are
made using the grapes from the vineyards in the municipalities of Verona and Grezzana, on
the hills of limestone origin bordering on the Valpolicella area.
The vines
The vines are planted in rows, which guarantees high-quality grapes. We’ve always used systems that respect nature, such as grassing, in which, as they grow, the useful insects in the grass move up onto the vine, where they combat pests. This allows us to reduce the use of pesticides and therefore pollution.
A number of techniques we use at the pruning and watering stages result in a smaller number
of grapes on the vine, but with significantly superior quality features. A good wine starts from
the vineyard.

We know each of our vines individually, they’re like lifelong friends for us. Sometimes, when no-one’s listening, we even call them by name!
